Installation of three groundwater monitoring wells to total depth of twenty feet <br /> below surface grade(bsg) and screened between 5 and 20 feet bsg to further <br /> delineate contaminant migration in the shallow zone; <br /> • MW-19 will be located approximately 5 feet west of the shop building and <br /> approximately 40 feet southeast of MW-14; <br /> • MW-20 will be located approximately 35 feet northeast of MW-9; <br /> • MW-21 will be located approximately 10 feet north of the shop building <br /> and approximately 10 feet northwest of MW-13. <br /> 2. Collection of soil samples at five-foot intervals beginning at five feet bsg. Soil <br /> samples with field indications of petroleum hydrocarbons using a photoionization <br /> detector(PID) or visual inspection will be sent to a California certified <br /> environmental laboratory for analysis. <br /> 3. Analysis of soil samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g)by <br /> United States Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) SW-846 Method 8015B; <br /> benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX); methyl tertiary-butyl <br /> ether(MTBE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),tertiary-amyl methyl ether <br /> (TAME), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), and di-isopropyl ether(DIPE)by EPA <br /> SW-846 Method 826013. <br />
