<br /> Pursuant to a telephone conversation between David Blakely of Clean Soils,Inc. (CSI) and Vicki
<br /> McCartney of San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)on September 29,
<br /> 2004,EHD approves removal of total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-diesel),TPH-
<br /> motor oil, 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA),and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB), from the analytical list
<br /> of compounds tested each quarter since non-detect results for these analyses have been reported
<br /> for groundwater samples during the October 2003 through June 2004 groundwater monitoring
<br /> events. EHD also approves removing monitoring wells MW-2,MW-4,MW-5,MW-6,MW-7,
<br /> MW-8,MW-10,MW-11, and MW-12, from the quarterly groundwater-monitoring program as
<br /> non-detect results for all chemicals of concern have been reported for these wells since at least
<br /> June 2002. However, continue collecting depth to water measurements in all wells during each
<br /> quarterly groundwater monitoring event for the purpose of determining the groundwater gradient.
<br /> In letters dated April 2,2003 and January 7,2004, EHD noted that laboratory analytical results
<br /> are not being electronically submitted to GeoTracker—the State Water Resources Control Board
<br /> database program. Over a year has elapsed and still data have not been entered into GeoTracker.
<br /> Electronic transmission of laboratory analytical results to GeoTracker must be initiated
<br /> immediately. Also provide EHD with a copy of the monitoring well survey report that lists the
<br /> coordinates for each monitoring well installed at this site.
