BLAKELO
I NVIRCIN141EN7-AL
TN. VES'r1GAT1C?NS -
CarrolOz
San Joaquin County Public.Health Services
' Environmental Health Division
304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
1
Re: Frontier Transport, Inc. 'Site Code: 2251
' 425 Larch Road
Tracy, CA 95376
1 ' I
Blakely Environmental Investigations, Inc. (BEII) performed a well survey of
domestic, municipal, agricultural, industrial, and any other wells within a 2,000-foot
' radius of the Frontier facility located at 425 Larch Road, Tracy, California. A search of
the Department of Water Resources records identified eighteen (18)wells located at
fifteen(15) locations within a 2,000-foot radius. The attached figure identifies the fifteen
well locations with respect to the site. The enclosed table identifies the type of well, well
depth, perforation depth, and the annular seal depth.
' Most of the wells (13) are used as domestic water wells and range,in depth from
80' below grade(bg)to 223' bg. The shallowest domestic water well (well #3 in the
' table)was perforated from 60' bg to 80' bg. The annular seal of the domestic water wells
was set from0' bg to 50' bg, with the exception of well 95 which was sealed from 0' bg
to 20' bg.
' Four (4) shallow wells, all located at 3425 Tracy Blvd., are used for monitoring
only. These wells are 30' bg and 35' bg and screened from approximately 8' bg to
termination depth. Well#10 did nouhave sufficient data to determine type of well, well
depth, perforation depth, and the annular seal depth.
Based on the well survey, no domestic water wells located within a 2;000-foot
radius are screened within the shallow subsurface groundwater identified beneath the site
from 6' bg to 10' bg.
' If you have any questions regarding the reported data, please call Hiram Garcia at
(760) 249-5498.
c
. Hiram Garcia ,
REA#6482
1 BLAKELY ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS,INC.
PO BOX 339, 1473 HIGHWAY 2,SUITE 2,WRIGHTW'OOO,CA 92397(760)249-5498 FAX(760)249.10161 www.ben-netcom
