EnviroMonitoring Services, Inc. <br /> October 3,2014 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 1868 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205-6232 <br /> Attention: Vicki McCartney <br /> Subject: Groundwater Remediation Startup <br /> Project Site:Frontier Transportation, 425 West Larch Road, Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> Ms. McCartney: <br /> EnviroMonitoring Services (EMS) completed construction of groundwater remediation system at <br /> the referenced site on October 1,2014. The system was constructed in general accordance with <br /> our work plan dated February 4, 2014. The plan was approved by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD) in March 2014. <br /> EMS started operation of groundwater remediation system on October 2,2014. Two <br /> groundwater samples were collected from the extraction wells EW-1 and EW-2 after removing <br /> 300 gallons of water from each well. The samples were delivered to laboratory for chemical <br /> analysis for TPH-g, BTEX, and fuel oxygenates. EMS will monitor operation of system and <br /> sample extraction wells every month as directed by the SJCEHD.
