Addendum to Interim Corrective Action Plan <br /> Frontier Transportation, Inc. <br /> April 14, 2006 <br /> Page 10 <br /> 5.0) WORK PROTOCOL <br /> All work shall be performed in accordance with local agency and state required <br /> protocol. <br /> 5. 1 ) Analytical Methods and Quality Assurance <br /> A California Department of Health Services certified laboratory would <br /> conduct all chemical analysis of site samples . The chosen laboratory will maintain <br /> strict conformance to EPA standard methodologies , quality assurance/quality <br /> control (QA/QC) protocols and standard laboratory practices supporting EPA <br /> procedures . <br /> 5 .2) Schedule <br /> Following acceptance of the work plan, on site assessment activities will <br /> commence within sixty days . <br /> The actions identified in this corrective action plan will take place in the <br /> following order : <br /> 1 . Installation of four additional wells for purposes of performing aquifer <br /> tests in the two designated areas . <br /> 2 . Deployment of two passive skimmers in each well with floating product <br /> (MW-2 and MW-21 ) . <br /> 3 . Aquifer tests performed on MW- 8 and MW-9, including the two new <br /> wells surrounding each . fi (P,Z- <br /> 4 . Excavation of source area, including removal of MW-3R during <br /> excavation. <br /> 5 . Development of a groundwater extraction system. <br /> 5 .3) Sample Identification <br /> Sample labels prevent the misidentification of samples . Following sample <br /> collection, labels will be affixed to each sample container. Labels will be <br /> sufficiently durable to remain legible even when wet . Labels will record the <br /> following type of information: <br /> 10 <br />
