Treadwell&Rollo
program conducted under the oversight of the SJCED. None of these wells was sampled as part
of this investigation.
2.3.2 Area 16
On 2 May 2000, AGE used Enviroprobe Drilling to advance borings 16 B-6 and 16B-7 with their
direct push rig at the locations shown on Figure 3. Treadwell &Rollo and DTSC personnel were
on site to observe. The borings were advanced to 15 feet deep for soil sampling. Boring Logs
prepared by AGE are presented at the back of Appendix B. Analytical results for soil are listed
on Tables 1 through 4.
Boring 16B-6 was advanced to 15 feet deep and a grab groundwater sample was collected.
Boring 16B-7 was advanced to approximately 50 feet deep to collect a second aquifer grab
groundwater samples. AGE's boring log for 16B-7 only shows the boring stratigraphy to 15 feet
deep, however, and AGE representatives have stated that the geologist who logged the boring
has left the firm, and they have not located additional information regarding the boring
stratigraphy. Analytical results for groundwater are given in Tables 5, 6, and 7. There are
currently 15 groundwater monitoring wells being sampled as part of an ongoing groundwater
monitoring program. None of these wells was sampled as part of this investigation.
2.3.3 Area 21
On 19 and 20 April 2000, Spectrum drilling used their direct push rig to advance 5 soil borings at
the locations shown on Figure 7. The borings were advanced to between 3 and 10 feet bgs for
soil sampling. Boring Logs are presented at the back of Appendix B. Analytical results for soil
are listed on Tables 1 through 4.
Boring 21B-8 was advanced to approximately 28 feet bgs to obtain a grab groundwater sample.
Analytical results for groundwater are given in Tables 5, 6, and 7.
22 •
25970309.DGD
24 August 2000
