EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The septic system servicing the existing commercial warehouse and office trailer consists <br /> of a 1,200-gallon septic tank with two compartments, three leach lines that are 15, 40, <br /> and 50 feet long, and three seepage pits (33" by 25'). The septic tank and leach lines are <br /> located to the west and south of the structure on the property. The onsite business is <br /> open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; the septic system is utilized 260 <br /> days a year by twelve (12) full-time employees. <br /> 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> Only one septic permit is on record for the subject property at the EHD. EHD Permit 81- <br /> 485 on record for 1350 Report Avenue, Stockton, California, indicates that the septic <br /> system as described above was installed in July 1981 (Appendix B). <br /> 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br /> There are no records of repairs performed on the existing septic system installed in 1981. <br /> 3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA <br /> Neighboring properties are zoned for miscellaneous, commercial and residential land use. <br /> The adjacent properties to the east and south are railroad properties listed as <br /> miscellaneous land use, the adjacent properties to the north and west are commercial, <br /> and properties to the northwest, across East Harding Way, are single-family residential. <br /> Several liquid waste permits are on record at the EHD for installation of septic systems <br /> surrounding the site property. <br /> 3.5. GENERAL AREA SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> The following is a summary of information based on new septic system installation permits <br /> currently on file with EHD. <br /> ADDRESS: 1203 Report Avenue <br /> LOCATION: Adjacent property, 50 feet west of property <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: 1) Permit date June 1965; new installation of septic system: one 800- <br /> gallon tank with two compartments, one 30-foot long leach line, and one seepage pit (33" <br /> by 25); and 2) Permit date April 2002; repair/addition to June 1965 septic system by <br /> adding one 40-foot long leach line and two seepage pits (36" by 25'). <br />
