The Report describes the portion of the pipeline that runs between Bessie
Avenue and Tracy Boulevard including underground utilities. After a 28 January 2005 phone
conversation with Ms. Diane Russell of the ChevronTexaco Pipe Line Company, the Addendum was
submitted to provide the type of product transported through the pipeline.
Based on the information provided, ChevronTexaco needs to submit a work plan to collect additional soil
and grab groundwater samples between the pipeline and telecommunication line. This will likely require
a traffic plan for the City of Tracy. By 25 March 2005,please submit a work plan that includes a
sufficient number of borings to determine if the pipeline has had a release in the vicinity of 541 West
Grant Line Road and a health and safety plan for the work. All samples must be analyzed for the types of
product transported through the line, including dissolved lead and fuel oxygenates.
