TABLE V
RECOMMENDATIONS
SECOR recommends that a total of three soil borings, S13-1 through S13-3 (Figure 3), be drilled at the
site in conjunction with the environmental and geotechnical investigations. One boring each will be
located in the proposed building pad area, the proposed pump island canopy area and the area of the
proposed USTs. Soil borings S13-2 and S13-3 will be completed to a depth of approximately 20 feet
bgs. Soil boring SBA will be completed to a depth of approximately 50 feet bgs. SB-1 will be utilized
to evaluate liquefaction potential for subsurface soils beneath the property because of shallow
groundwater (7 to 10 feet bgs). It is also recommended that a minimum of three groundwater
monitorng wells be installed (MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3) to evaluate if shallow groundwater beneath
the property has been impacted by offsite sources (refer to Table IV, Surrounding Land Use).
Item Recommendation Unit Costs
#of Borings 4 geotechnical/environmental borings Some additional job costs for liquefaction analysis
3 groundwater monitoring wells and groundwater monitoring well installation.
Analysis TPHg,TPHd,TRPH Standard job costs.
