WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> UNITED STATES ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS AND THE PORT OF STOCKTON <br /> STOCKTON DEEP WATER SHIP CHANNEL AND TURNING BASIN MAINTENANCE DREDGING PROJECT <br /> MILE 36.5 TO MILE 41.0 <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY -5- <br /> discharger shall carry our the biotoxicity program in the attached <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program No. <br /> If the discharge consistently produces in-stream toxicity, the Dischargers <br /> shall submit to the Board for approval a workplan to investigate the <br /> toxicity, shall implement the workplan upon approval , and shall take all <br /> reasonable steps to reduce or eliminate the toxicity. <br /> 14. The exceedance of the following limits at the edge of the mixing zone: <br /> Constituent Limit (mg/1 )' <br /> Total Arsenic 0.005 <br /> Total Cadmium 0.00066 <br /> Hexavalent Chromium 0.011 <br /> Total Copper 0.0054 <br /> Total Mercury 0.000012 <br /> Total Nickel 0.088 <br /> Total Lead 0.0013 <br /> Total Zinc 0.059 <br /> ' Based on a receiving water hardness of 50 mg/l CaCO3. If <br /> necessary, these values may be modified if data gathered <br /> during compliance with the Monitoring and Reporting Program <br /> indicates a significantly different hardness. <br /> E. Provisions: <br /> 1. The Dischargers may be required to submit technical reports as directed by <br /> the Executive Officer <br /> 2. The Dischargers shall comply with the attached Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program No. <br /> 3. The Dischargers shall comply with the Standard Provision and Reporting <br /> Requirements, dated 31 March 1991, which are part of this Order. <br /> 4. The Dischargers shall immediately notify the Regional Board by telephone <br /> whenever an adverse condition occurs as a result of the discharge or <br /> dredging operation; written confirmation shall follow within two weeks. <br /> 5. The Board considers the Port of Stockton to have continuing responsibility <br /> for correcting any problems which may arise in the future as a result of <br /> this operation and the subsequent use of the land for other purposes. <br /> 6. The Dischargers shall report promptly to the Board any material change or <br /> proposed change in the character, location, or volume of the discharge. <br />
