Exact soil boring locations will
be determined based upon accessibility, utility clearance, geophysical survey findings, and encountered
drilling conditions. Bureau Veritas plans on utilizing truck-mounted and limited access direct-push
Geoprobe drilling equipment which is the most cost effective method. It is Bureau Veritas' understanding
that Sansome Pacific Properties, Inc. will arrange access to the proposed boring locations prior to
commencement of drilling activities.
It should also be noted that the scope of work and associated fees presented in this Proposal assume
that the investigation activities will be conducted during normal business hours. If the proposed scope of
work must be completed during non-business hours or over the weekend, additional fees to conduct the
scope of work will be warranted.
Soil Sampling
During the drilling activities, soil cores will be collected from each borehole for soil logging purposes using
a core barrel sampler containing a plastic liner that retains a relatively undisturbed soil core from which
S:\ES\PROJECTS\3-Chicago[99](15-16)\Walgreen Repo rts\99008-00832 1.01 Stockton\P2\Workplan.doc
