The purpose of the subsurface <br /> investigation is to evaluate the subject site for potential impacts resulting from historical agricultural <br /> operations and/or other environmental impacts that may exist beneath the site, as part of due diligence <br /> prior to site acquisition and/or development. <br /> The scope of work includes advancing six Geoprobe soil borings; analysis of selected soil samples; and <br /> preparing an investigation report detailing site activities. The scope of work is described in detail in the <br /> following paragraphs. <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> The site is located on the north side of Roth Road, approximately 300 feet east of U.S. Interstate <br /> Highway 5 in French Camp, California, as shown on Figure 1. The site is primarily undeveloped and <br /> consists of approximately 15.41 acres. The western portion of the site is paved with asphalt and is used <br /> as a storage area for roofing tiles and trailers. An active sand operation is located in the northern portion <br /> of the site. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Planning <br /> ATC will schedule field personnel and equipment, notify Underground Services Alert to locate <br /> underground utilities as required, and perform other necessary field preparation and job start-up <br /> activities. ATC will also obtain a San Joaquin County permit for the advancement of the Geoprobe soil <br /> borings. The permit application is attached to this workplan. <br /> Advancement of Geoprobe Soil Borings <br /> Six Geoprobe91 soil borings will be advanced to a depth of approximately 28 feet below ground surface <br /> (bgs) for the primary purpose of collecting groundwater samples.
