INFORMATION SHEET <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY, <br /> MIGRANT FARM WORKER CAMP-HARNEY LANE AND <br /> CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT, OFFICE OF MIGRANT SERVICES <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The San Joaquin County Housing Authority operates a farm labor camp on Harney Lane. The <br /> California Department of Housing and Community Development, Office of Migrant Services is <br /> the property owner. The facility is 6.5 miles east of Highway 99. The wastewater treatment <br /> consist of two aerated percolation ponds. The facility houses 400 persons from 1 May to <br /> 31 October of each year. The worker help with farming both tree crops as well as row crops in <br /> their seasons. <br /> The facility discharges about 40,000 gallons a day of domestic wastewater. The current waste <br /> discharge requirements are ten years old and no longer adequate nor consistent with current <br /> plans and policies of the Board. <br />
