Vestar Development Company D47223.01 March 7, 2006 Page 5 6.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE It is estimated that the proposed work will take approximately six weeks to complete. A summary of the estimated time to complete individual tasks is outlined as follows: • Field Work: Drill 21 soil borings to 15 feet bsg- approximately 3 working days. • Laboratory Testing: Analyze soil samples with a routine turnaround- three weeks. • Reporting:Preparation ofPreliminary Site Assessment report,review and publishing -two weeks. 7.0 LIMITATIONS In performing such a study, it is understood that a balance must be struck between a reasonable inquiry into the site conditions and an exhaustive analysis of each conceivable environmental characteristic. The proposed work is intended to be an interactive process. Additional work may be required based on the outcome of this investigation. No investigation is thorough enough to describe all geologic/hydrogeologic conditions of interest at a given site. If conditions are not identified during the study, such a finding should not be construed as a guarantee of the absence of such conditions at the site, but rather as the result of the services performed within the scope, limitations, and cost of the work performed. Geologic/hydrogeologic conditions may exist at the site that cannot be identified solely by visual observation. Where subsurface exploratory work is performed,our professional opinions are based in part on interpretation of data from discrete sampling locations that may not represent actual conditions at unsampled locations. This work plan was prepared for the sole use of Vestar Development Company (client) and appropriate regulatory agencies. Any reliance on this report by a third party is at such party's sole risk. The professional services will be performed, the findings obtained, and the conclusions prepared in accordance with generally-accepted engineering principles and practices in San Joaquin County,California at the time the work is performed. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied.
