k`■ KLEINFELDER
were recorded on the boring logs. No odors or discoloration were present in soil samples from
soil borings B-1 and B-2. PID readings for the samples collected ranged from 4.3 to 7 ppmv.
The borings were drilled, logged, and sampled in accordance with the protocol described in
Attachment B.
Six soil samples were collected from each of the two borings. Chemical analysis. was
subsequently conducted on a total of eight soil samples, four from each boring. Groundwater was
not encountered during the drilling activities.
Soil cuttings and water generated while drilling were stored on site in 55 gallon drums pending
chemical analysis.
4.4 SAMPLE HANDLING
After collection, each of the samples were labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, and
immediately stored in an iced cooler. The samples were transported under chain-of-custody
control to Kleinfelder's office and then transported by courier in a sealed container to Sequoia
Analytical of Sacramento, California for chemical analysis. Sequoia is certified by the California
Department of Health Services to perform the requested analyses.
20-3712-08.E02/2018R1090 Page 8 of 17
©1998,Kleinfelder,Inc.
