A groundwater sample will then <br /> be collected from inside the sampler using a bailer and transferred into laboratory-cleaned <br /> approved sample containers. <br /> The soil samples and groundwater will be submitted under chain of custody protocol to a <br /> California-certified laboratory and analyzed on a 10-day turnaround for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline/diesel (TPH-g/d),benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes(BTEX), <br /> methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE), tert butyl alcohol (TBA) ethyl tert butyl ether (ETBE) <br /> diisopropyl ether(DIPE),tert amyl methyl ether(TAME)and total lead. These constituents have <br /> been identified as present in the impacted groundwater beneath the Shell facility. <br /> 6. REPORTING AND SCHEDULING <br /> Upon completion of field activities, a report documenting the work will be submitted. The report <br /> will include a detailed description of the field activities, a summary of the analytical data, and <br /> analytical reports with QA/QC documentation, soil boring logs, investigation findings and <br /> conclusions. It will be signed by a California Professional Geologist. <br /> Fieldwork will be scheduled upon agency approval of this work plan. Drilling is expected to <br /> take one day to complete.
