Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies <br /> of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site <br /> for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for <br /> the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 117 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data electronically. <br /> A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been <br /> made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required <br /> fields. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Staining and some free standing liquid was noted around some of the indoor printing press equipment. Facilities shall <br /> be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, <br /> or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately fix any leaks, clean the spilled <br /> liquid, and manage all wastes according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> The eye wash station located inside the printing press room did not appear to be maintained, Mr. Keith Blomquist <br /> indicated that he doesn't think it gets inspected. All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection <br /> equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained <br /> as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency.
