Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal <br />facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily <br />available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on <br />site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />301 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />Dark oil stains and oily debris were found outside near various facility equipment(i.e. uni-hydro ironworker, air <br />compressor, and metal shear). Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, <br />explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br />environment. Immediately clean up the dark oil stains and oily debris, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous <br />waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />The Used Oil Tank did not have a current accumulation start date. All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with <br />the words "Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste tanks <br />are marked with the required information. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by 8-2-15. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
