Thereafter, pilot test results will be
reported in semiannual groundwater monitoring reports as sampling data become available.
When all the pilot test sample results are available at the end of 2 years, they will be evaluated
and described in a final report to be submitted to the RWQCB. Based on the results of the
evaluation, UniFirst may propose additional remedial actions for the site as warranted.
7.4 SCHEDULE
A preliminary schedule has been prepared for the scope of work included in this Interim RAP.
The schedule assumes RWQCB approval of the Interim RAP within 2 months of submission
and timely approval of boring and well installation permits by SJCEHD. The schedule also
assumes availability of various subcontractors to perform the work, and appropriate weather
conditions.
October 29, 2010 UniFirst submits Interim RAP to RWQCB
Fourth Quarter 2010 RWQCB approves Interim RAP
First Quarter 2011 Fieldwork is completed
Second Quarter 2011 Monthly groundwater sampling conducted at well
cluster MW-5 and interim reporting to RWQCB completed
Third Quarter 2011 through
First Quarter 2013 Semiannual groundwater monitoring conducted (all wells)
Second Quarter 2013 F=inal remediation pilot test results and recommendations
submitted to the RWQCB
8.0 REFERENCES
AMEC Geomatrix, Inc., 2008, Response to Regional Water Quality Control Board—Central
Valley Region September 26, 2008, Letter to UniFirst Corporation, UniFirst Facility,
Stockton, California, November(AMEC, 2008).
AMEC Geomatrix, Inc., 2010, Groundwater Corrective Action Plan, UniFirst Facility, Stockton,
California,April (AMEC, 2010a).
AMEC Geomatrix, Inc., 2010, First Semiannual 2010 Groundwater Monitoring Results,
UniFirst Facility, Stockton, California, April (AMEC, 2010b).
California Regional Water Quality Control Board—Central Valley Region, 2010 Review of
Corrective Action Plan, UniFirst, 819 Hunter Street, Stockton, San Joaquin County,
August 2 (RWQCB, 2010).
AMEC Geomatrix, Inc.
I:N 3000s1132901Archive113290-49.DOC 14
