cc, by EPA method 8015M) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs, by EPA Method 8260). Selected
samples(estimated at 8) may also be analyzed for the following(based upon the TPHNOC results):
Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs, by EPA Method 8270)
CAM 17 Metals (by EPA Method 6010,or similar).
Samples will be delivered or shipped to the selected fixed-base laboratory(or laboratories) under routine
chain-of-custody protocols. A standard laboratory turnaround time of five business days will be
requested.
5.0 REPORTING
A letter report of findings will be signed by a California Certified Engineering Geologist and will
be submitted to the Client. The report will include the following information: description of sampling
procedures;results of laboratory analyses; findings, conclusions and any recommendations .
6.0 RESIDUALS MANAGEMENT
6.1 Drill cuttings
Drill cuttings from the bores will be drummed and securely stored on the commercial site
until laboratory quantitative analyses results are received. These results will be used to
determine the proper disposal of the drummed soil—i.e., to a hazardous waste facility or to a
Class III landfill.
6.2 Purge water
Groundwater extracted from purging of the piezometers will be contained and securely
stored on site until laboratory analysis results are received. These results will be used to
determine the proper disposal of this groundwater—i.e., manifested as hazardous waste to an
appropriate treatment facility or, if non-hazardous,to the site's septic system.
7.0 SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN
A Health and Safety Plan (HASP) has been developed for this limited subsurface site assessment
and will be appropriately implemented prior to the beginning of field work.
Remediation Pilot Study Workplan Pinnacle Environmental,Inc.
248 Industrial Drive,Stockton,CA Page 6
