Gooderham, Aaron
From: Gooderham, Aaron
Sent: Tuesday, April 21, 2020 4:50 PM
To: sam@sunrisetruckinginc.com'
Cc: 'herbpreszler@att.net'
Subject: 865 East Roth Road. EH Conditions
Attachments: IMG_3802.JPG; certified laboratories water testing.pdf
Hello gentlemen,
Please send me what documents/pictures you have regarding the existing septic system on this project. I was onsite
February 19, 2020 and found the leach field driven over, paved over and has structures built on it. I attached a photo
showing these findings.
For the conditions of approval:the leach field should not be driven over and structures and pavement over the leach
field (and 100% replacement area for the leach field) should be relocated to satisfy this departments conditions.
According to the septic system permit SR0075623, "Engineered Septic System Layout" designed by Neil O. Anderson &
Assocs., A Terracon Company, the plans state (2) "no permanent structures or hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt
paving should be constructed over the seepage bed" and (6) "the designated replacement area should be kept free of
any permanent structures." These statements fall in line with the Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standards of San
Joaquin County and are to be followed.
Revised site plans are required showing the leach field and the 100% replacement area.
We require the drinking water to be tested to ensure that it meets water quality objectives for bacteria nitrates and
DBCP; I've attached a list of state certified laboratories that provide this service.
Sincerely,
Aaron Gooderham—Environmental Health Specialist
Environmental Health Department—County of San Joaquin
Website: https://www.sagov.org/department/envhealth/
Desk: (209)468-3442 Cell: (209)481-9257
1
