Attachment NQ. 11 is a reference to the Public Resources Code <br /> Section 29703 . 5 which describes the Delta Protection Commission' s <br /> role in providing recommendations to the Delta Stewardship <br /> Council . . . which include the decisions to recognize and enhance the <br /> unique . . . agricultural resources of the Delta. <br /> 12 . Attachment No . 12 is the Chapter 5 recognition that one of the <br /> goals for the Delta Protection Commission' s management plan Is to <br /> preserve a strong agricultural economic base. The proposed <br /> distillery is for a re-use of a previous asparagus packing shed and <br /> shipping facility which will provide new skilled employment_jobs for <br /> San Joaquin County. <br /> 1. 3 . Attachment No . 13 is the Chapter 5 recognition that <br /> maintaining Delta agriculture as a primary land use, a fuel source, a <br /> key economic indicator, and a way of life is a core strategy . <br /> 14 . Attachment No . 14 is the recognition that agriculture is among <br /> the qualities that define the Delta as a place .
