• A new disposable polyethylene or Teflon bailer, or stainless steel bailer; or <br /> • A peristaltic pump and new dedicated Teflon tubing. <br /> The groundwater grab samples will be labeled, packaged, and stored on ice in an insulated chest <br /> for transport under chain-of-custody manifest to a California-certified analytical laboratory. <br /> Groundwater sampling procedures are presented in Appendix A. <br /> 4.4 Laboratory Analyses <br /> The soil samples will be submitted to Creek Environmental Laboratories, Inc., a California- <br /> certified analytical laboratory, for analysis. The analyses will be conducted on a normal turn- <br /> around basis in general accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) specified <br /> holding times. The analyses will be performed in general accordance with the following EPA <br /> methods listed. <br /> Matrix Analyses <br /> Soil/water Title 22 Metals Scan EPA Method 6010 <br /> Soil/water Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline Modified EPA Method 8015 <br /> Soil/water Gasoline Analysis Package EPA Method 8015 <br /> Soil/water Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel Modified EPA Method 8015 <br /> Soil/water Aromatic and Halogenated Volatile Organics EPA 8021 B <br /> Soil/water Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons EPA Method 3560/8440 <br /> Soil/water Volatile Organic Compounds EPA Method 8260B <br /> Soil/water Semi-volatile Organic Compounds EPA Method 8270C <br /> Water Fuel Oxygenate Compounds EPA Method 8260B <br /> 4.5 Investigation-Derived Waste Disposal <br /> Drill cuttings and wash water generated during the field investigation will be contained for <br /> disposal in 208-liter(55-gallon) drums, approved by the United Nations for transport of liquid <br /> and solid wastes. The drums will be stored at the site.
