Grant Line Road, Tracy, CA 95304
The permit application to install an underground storage tank (UST) system at the above
referenced location has been received. The following deficiencies/discrepancies must be
corrected prior to approval:
1. Vent lines and vapor recovery lines are designed as single wall F.R.P per plan F-1.1. The
vent and vapor recovery lines are considered part of the underground storage tank system
as per Health and Safety Code, Section 25290.20); therefore double wall vent lines and
vapor recovery lines are required. Submit 3 sets of revised plan to reflect this
requirement.
2. Reducer boots located inside under dispenser containments and vapor containments are
designed to be sealed for future testing per plan F-4. These reducer boots should be
designed to be opened for communication in order to detect any unauthorized releases
from any portion of the underground storage tank system at the earliest possible
opportunity(California Code of Regulation, Section 2641 (a)). State on revised plan to
reflect this requirement.
3. Interstitial sensor listed on specification sheet V/R 794390 is different from listed on the
plan V/R 794380. State on revised plan to reflect this change.
4. Contractor information should be provided prior to permit approval.
If you have any further questions, please call me at (209) 468-9850.
Steven C.
