Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc . -�:- 22 March 2002 AGE-NC Project No. 02-0912 Ms. Margaret Lagorio SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT 304 East Weber Avenue, 3rd Floor Stockton, CA 95201 Subject: Phase H Site Assessment Work Plan Village Properties - Former Arco Station 1301 West Lockeford Street Lodi, California Dear Ms. Lagorio: At the request of Ms.Sharon Benson-Calone,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.(AGE)has prepared the enclosed Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan for the property at 1301 West Lockeford Street, APN 035-330-15, in Lodi, California. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) for the procurement of a soil boring permit. The work is being performed at the request of Ms. Sharon Benson-Calone to investigate for soil and ground water impacted by fuel components related to former dispenser islands and underground storage tanks (USTs). The subject property is located in the northwest portion of the City of Lodi, San Joaquin County, on the northwest corner of West Lockeford Street and Ham Lane. Land use of the surrounding properties is both residential and commercial. The subject site is the location of a former Arco gas station. Dates of operation are not known by AGE. However, four USTs were removed from the site in March 1987 and a"no further action" letter, dated 26 October 1987, was issued by the EHD. DRILLING AND SAMPLE COLLECTION AGE proposes to advance three soil probe borings using GeoProbe"direct-push"techniques. AGE proposes soil probe borings in the presumed area of the former dispenser islands and USTs.
