The following i an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addresse for Global Materials Management, LLC as of April 17, 2017. <br /> Open violations from August 26, 2016 inspection <br /> Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Inside: <br /> -one 55 gallon container w th an oily label "drained used oil filters" near the used oil filter crusher full of used oil open <br /> -four 5 gallon buckets of u ed oil, oil absorbent, identified as non-RCRA hazardous waste <br /> -one 55 gallon blue drum s oring mixture of used oil, oily rags and equipment <br /> -one 55 gallon drum of wa to aerosol cans, identified by Mr. Kandathil, unknown source <br /> -two thirty gallon drums an one five gallon bucket stored near the east wall of the building, identified as non-RCRA <br /> hazardous waste by Mr. K ndathil <br /> Outside: <br /> -one 55 gallon drum labele "used absorbents" with a generator name of"williams tank lines" containing used oil <br /> and other hazardous wast identified as non-RCRA by Mr. Kandathil <br /> -one 30 gallon black drum f used oil in the "hazardous waste storage" area <br /> -fourteen(14) 55 gallon dru s of non-RCRA hazardous waste in the"hazardous waste storage" area with illegible <br /> labels <br /> -three 55 gallon drums of n n-RCRA hazardous waste in the yard, identified by Jay <br /> -trailer full of 55 gallon dru s (unknown number due to safety issues) identified as non-RCRA by Mr. Kandathil <br /> did not have adequate haz rdous waste labels. They were either unlabeled, labeled with inaccurate information or <br /> illegible. <br /> All hazardous waste contai ers must have at a minimum the following information: <br /> -words"hazardous waste" <br /> -generator name and addre s <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -hazardous property <br /> -physical state <br /> -start accumulation date <br /> Immediately properly label II hazardous waste. <br /> Violation #608 -Failed to roperly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> At this location there is prac ice of labeling containers of drained used oil filters with the initial date of receipt and the <br /> words"drained used oil filte s". The containers of used oil filters (hundreds) seen on site were not labeled, labeled <br /> from the original generator r mislabeled as something else. <br /> Used oil filters shall be drai ed of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used <br /> oil filters," and marked with t ie date of receipt Immediately properly label and ensure that all used oil filters are <br /> managed in this way. <br /> Page 8 of 8 <br />
