PUBL?C HLALTH SERVICES
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION
Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer
304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202
209/468-3420
February 7, 2000
QB Rebuilders, Inc.
Attention: Pete Warren, General Manager
2325 Charter Way
Stockton, Ca 95206
Dear Mr. Warren:
FILE COPY
In response to your letter dated January 11, 2000 and after reviewing your comments
and/or requests to rescind the notice of violations, I regret to inform you that your
requests to rescind those violations were denied. Those violations were well documented
and photographed. A copy of photographs was sent to you along with the revised official
inspection report dated November 18, 1999. The representative samples were collected
and analyzed by the state certified laboratory. A copy of the result was also included
with the revised official inspection report.
Please be informed that the accumulation time begins on the date the first drop of
hazardous waste is placed in a storage container, not on the date the storage container is
inspected or discovered by a local agency, Title 22, Section 66262.34. Please also be
informed that the label of a container containing hazardous waste shall contain all
informed listed in Title 22, Section 66262.34(f).
In your response, you made referral to Title 22, Section 66699. Please be informed that
Section 66699 of Title 22 was repealed in 1990. Enclosed is a copy of that section.
If you shall have any questions, please contact me at 209-468-3444.
Sincerely,
Michael Kith, Sr. REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Division.
Enclosure.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
