<br />4. Hazardous waste treatment, storage, or disposal facilities permitted under RCRA;
<br />5. Landfills, land application sites, and open dumps that receive industrial waste;
<br />6. Recycling facilities: SIC Codes 5015 and 5093, including metal scrap yards, battery
<br />reclaimers, salvage yards, automobile dismantlers and wreckers and recycling
<br />facilities which are engaged in assembling, breaking up, sorting and wholesale
<br />distribution of scrap and waste material such as bottles, wastepaper, textile wastes,
<br />waste oil, etc.;
<br />7. Steam electric generating facilities;
<br />8. Transportation facilities: SIC Codes 40, 41, 42 (except 4221-4225), 43, 44, 45 and
<br />52171 that conduct any type of vehicle or equipment maintenance such as fueling,
<br />cleaning, repairing, etc.;
<br />9. Sewage treatment plants; and
<br />10. Certain facilities (often referred to as "light industry") where industrial materials,
<br />equipment, or activities are exposed to stormwater. SIC Codes 20, 21, 22, 23,
<br />2434, 25, 265, 267, 27, 283, 285, 30, 31 (except 311), 323, 34, (except 3441), 35,
<br />36, 37 (except 373), 38, 39 and 4221-4225.
<br />1.2 Obligation to Comply
<br />Activities conducted at QB Rebuilders= (QBR) 2325 W. Charter Way, Stockton, CA site are
<br />limited to receipt of incoming stock materials, remanufacturing of vehicle brake shoes and
<br />pads and calipers, warehousing of in -process materials and finished products and shipping.
<br />According to the Standard Industrial Classification Manual, 1987 edition, the QB Rebuilders
<br />site carries the following SIC codes:
<br />SIC 3714: Motor vehicle parts and accessories; brake and brake parts manufacturing
<br />SIC 4225: General Warehousing
<br />Operations classified as SIC 3714 is listed in Category 10 and are subject to the conditions
<br />of the General Permit only for those industrial activities which are exposed to stormwater
<br />and/or surface drainage. Operations classified as SIC 4225 are not subject to the terms
