QSR
January 29, 1997
Environmental Health Division
Mr.Michael P.Kith,R.E.H.S.
304 East Weber Avenue,Third Floor
P.O.Box 388
Stockton,CA 95201-0388
Dear Mr. Micheal P.Kith,R.E.H.S.:
As Requested,The Certificate of Return to Compliance relative to your 12/06/96 audit of QB Rebuilders is
enclosed.
All Items are in Compliance with the following comment/exception:
Item#49 Required Personnel Training records are available. However,we are now recruiting for a new Human
Resources Manager's position and are attempting to register to ISO 9002/QS 9000. My expectations are that
identification of our training requirements and records will improve significantly in the near future. We are now
coordinating with the local fire department to schedule a fire drill evacuation.
Item#75a Item was a statement of fact"to be discussed"within your office and requires no action on our part.
Item#75c Asbestos containment in our"De-bonding"area on wet weather days appeared to be of concern. One
might speculate that during a rain, excess rainwater would wash asbestos into the storm drain and then be pumped
into an adjacent drying pond.
We are now pulling water samples from the drain and pond to test for asbestos by an independent laboratory. We
will advise you of the results.
I hope the enclosed certification and comments satisfies the most immediate requirements. Please advise if not.
Sincerel
Dave C.
