Weber Avenue
Stockton, California 95202
SUBJECT: FORMER FUEL SERVICE STATION AT 18894 NORTH LOWER SACRAMENTO
ROAD
As requested, attached is a memo from Blackburn Consulting documenting the sampling event related
to the suspected diesel smell at the former fueling island on Lower Sacramento Road. As discussed
between you and Michael Callahan, analytical results from our sampling indicated a single detection of
diesel at a concentration of 11 parts per million (attached). All other compounds were reported at non-
detectable levels.
Also attached, per your request, is a map which identifies the location of the sample collection as well
as construction activities in the vicinity of the fuel island. Construction activities have occurred within
fifteen feet of the suspected fuel island and no indications of contamination were observed.
If after review of the enclosed data it is found that no further investigation is required, Public Works
Department requests a letter from the Environmental Health Department confirming that the
investigation is complete.
Thank you for your time and assistance with this matter. If you have any questions, please contact me
at (209) 468-3014.
Sincerely,
r
D.
