4.2 COMPLETENESS,REPRESENTATIVENESS AND COMPARABILITY
It is expected that all analyses conducted in accordance with the analytical methods will
provide data meeting QC acceptance criteria for 85 percent of all samples tested. Any
reasons for variances will be investigated by the laboratory and documented.
The quantity of samples to be collected has been determined in an effort to effectively
represent the population being studied.
The analytical methods used for this study are consistent with those used for previous
studies to assure comparability of the data. All standards used by the laboratory will be
traceable to reliable sources.
The laboratory chosen to perform the analyses will be certified by the State of California
Department of Health Services for the appropriate categories of analysis.
4.3 LEVEL OF OA FOR FIELD MEASUREMENTS
Measurement data will be generated in many field activities. These data include,but are
not limited to, the following:
i) Documenting time and weather conditions;
ii) document location based on measurements from stationary and permanent
landmark(s);
iii) document the soil type and characteristics, including color, odor and moisture.-
and
oisture;and
iv) measure depth of sample collection.
The general QA objective for measurement data is to obtain reproducible and
comparable measurements to a degree of accuracy consistent with the use of
standardized procedures.
031090-10(4) -6- CON ESTOGA-ROVERS&ASSOCIATES
