In the 14 February 2007 workplan acceptance letter it was specified that the nine
proposed groundwater samples would be submitted for analysis of the site petroleum
constituents of concern and water quality parameters.
During a 31 May 2007 telephone conversation with Geomatrix representatives, it was
discussed how two of the proposed boring locations for groundwater sampling are adjacent to
sites where samples were previously analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbon compounds.
Therefore, groundwater samples from these two sites (in the northeast and northwest property
corners) should be analyzed only for the general water quality parameters as proposed.
However, groundwater samples obtained from the third proposed onsite boring location,
hydraulically upgradient and in the southwest corner of the property, should include analysis
for the site petroleum hydrocarbon constituents of concern in addition to water quality
parameters.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call Dean Hubbard at (559) 445-5179.
1
?Olrl ,Y 3 7
C.
