(Geomatrix). The property occupies
the eastern portion of the former TAOC Tracy Pump Station on Beechnut Avenue, west of Tracy
Boulevard.
The report provides the 15 November 2005 quarterly groundwater monitoring analytical results for the
period October to December 2005. There are two onsite monitoring wells (both contain floating product
and are not sampled) and three offsite (one upgradient and two downgradient)monitoring wells
associated with the site. Floating product has been removed from the two onsite wells monthly since
November 2004 as part of a study to determine if more frequent removal significantly reduces product in
the two wells. Prior to that, slightly less than 30-gallons of product had been removed from each well
since 1988 (REW-3) and 1996 (REW-2).
The fourth quarter 2005 quarterly event is the tenth consecutive quarterly sampling and monitoring
report conducted since September 2003. Initially, Central Valley Regional Water Board staff suggested
that quarterly monitoring continue until the additional off-site investigation is completed. Geomatrix
completed the soil and groundwater investigation in December 2005 to evaluate the extent of impacts
north-northwest, downgradient, and off-site. The investigative report is being finalized and will be
submitted in the very near future.
California Environmental Protection Agency
a Recycled Paper
