3-1
3.0 SUIVIMARY
Remcor believes that it is prudent to conduct a Phase II site assessment at the TCS, Inc. site.
The Phase II site assessment must evaluate whether environmental liabilities are likely in the
area of the former UST the location of the brine discharge, the septic em 1 hfi l
g , p system eac e d, and
ground water. This assessment will be completed by advancing seven test borings for the
collection of soil samples for laboratory analyses. Three monitoring wells will be installed
j and ground water samples will be collected from the three monitoring wells and the two pro-
duction wells for laboratory analyses. Data collected in this assessment will be compared to
pertinent regulatory regulations and used to develop a report of site conditions. If additional
action is warranted, Remcor will develop recommendations.
Remcor is prepared to mobilize to the site within two weeks of Southeastern's authorization
to proceed. Remcor estimates the duration of this project to be approximately six weeks. Of
the six weeks, approximately one week will be required to perform the field work and three
weeks are necessary to complete the analysis of the samples. A draft report will be submit-
ted for Southeastern's review within two to three weeks of receipt of the laboratory report.
A final report will be prepared and submitted to Southeastern within one week of receiving
their comments on the draft report.
:24447
