' 6.0 CONCLUSIONS
The following conclusions and recommendations are based on the observations and
' analytical data collected to date.
' Laboratory analysis of ground water samples indicates the presence of moderate levels of
gasoline and gasoline constituents in water collected from monitoring well MW-1 and
low levels in MW-6. All other monitoring well samples indicated non detectable levels
for analyzed constituents. The data indicate an increase in constituent levels in both
monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-6 as compared with previous sampling event data.
7.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based upon the results of the additional soil and ground water investigation, and the
results obtained from this quarterly sampling event, AGS believes that the lateral and
vertical extent of gasoline contaminated ground water have been adequately defined.
lieAGS recommends continued quarterly monitoring of the five monitoring wells sampled
during this event to assess ground water quality over time. AGS does not recommend the
recovery of the monitoring well MW-8 at this time. Historical analytical data indicate
non detectable levels of all analyzed constituents over the five previous sampling events
at this well.
' The next regularly scheduled quarterly sampling event will take place in June, 1998.
( American Geological Services, Inc.
CA95 DE-629
14
