The consistent decline in MTBE concentrations since August 1999 may be due in part to SVE remediation beginning in August 2000. ' The average SVE inlet flow rate was 60 cubic feet per minute.Between June and December 2002,the total volume ofpetroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline that was extracted is estimated to be approximately 112 kg, 247.7 lbs or 40 gallons. ' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS Based upon data collected from the site, AGE submits the following recommendations: ' Quarterly ground water monitoring/sampling has indicted a general trend of decreasing concentrations of hydrocarbons and fuel additives.Operation and monitoring of the S VE/1AS ' system has reduced the extraction vapor concentrations to low levels, which are below the clean-up goal specified in the CAP for the site. Confirmation soil samples were non-detect for BTEX and MTBE. A Closure Summary Report should be prepared. tUpon closure certification, the wells associated with the site should be abandoned in accordance with San Joaquin County regulations. 6.0. LIMITATIONS ' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon ' analytical results provided by an independent laboratory.Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of available data points (i.e. soil samples, soil-vapor samples and monitoring well samples), and the ' subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points.
