WORK PLAN FOR MONITORING <br /> WELL INSTALLATION <br /> at <br /> Chevron Service Station #9-3232 <br /> 8660 Lower Sacramento Road <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Report No . 346463 . 01 - 1 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Chevron Products Company (Chevron) , Gettler-Ryan Inc . (GR) has <br /> prepared this Work Plan for Monitoring Well Installation to evaluate soil and groundwater <br /> conditions beneath the subject site (Figure 1) . The proposed scope of work includes : <br /> obtaining the necessary well installation permit from the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services (SJCPHS) ; preparing a site specific health and safety plan; installing four <br /> groundwater monitoring wells ; developing and sampling the newly installed groundwater <br /> monitoring wells ; surveying all wellhead elevations ; coordinating Chevron' s contractor to <br /> dispose of the soil cuttings ; and preparing a report which presents the findings of the <br /> investigation. <br /> The scope of work described in this report is intended to comply with the State of California <br /> Water Resources Control Board ' s Leaking Underground Fuel Tanks (LUFT) Manual and <br /> California Underground. Storage Tank Regulations, 1994, the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, and SJCPHS <br /> guidelines . <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is an active retail gasoline service station located at the southeast corner of Lower <br /> Sacramento Road and Ponce De Leon Avenue in Stockton, California . Current facilities at <br /> 346463.01-1 <br />
