When oil is changed, the waste oil is drained into portable collection <br /> containers, which are drained daily into a waste oil system. The operator <br /> places a suction pipe into the portable collection container and turns on an air <br /> operated diaphragm pump which sucks the oil from the container and deposits <br /> it into a waste oil storage tank. The suction line is flexible hose at at the <br /> suction end, approximately 10-' 0" in length, the pipe is continuous to the <br /> waste oil tank which is a steel tank with integral secondary containment. The <br /> tank is located immediately adjacent to the north exterior wall, outside of the <br /> building. The suction pipe is approximately 10' 0" long. <br /> Tank Configuration: <br /> Above ground Air Boy Sales steel tank with integral secondary containment, <br /> with approximately 500 gallon capacity. <br /> Leak Detection Equipment: <br /> Tank is equipped with automatic, BJ Enterprises 007, shut-off and over fill <br /> alarm, and a monitor in secondary containment space. <br /> Spill Prevention or Overfill Equipment: <br /> The tank as integral secondary containment, which is monitored. The suction <br /> line is continuous with welded joints.
