Only authorized
personnel may enter this area wearing the specified level of protection.
' Contamination Reduction Zone (CRZ) The contamination reduction zone will consist of a
lane into and out of the EZ which will adequately accommodate decontamination
station(s) as necessary. Access and egress for each EZ will only be allowed through the
' CRZs. Only authorized personnel wearing the specified level of protection may enter this
area.
Suaort Zone (SZ) The support zone will be located beyond the CRZ and will include the
remaining portions of the site. No specific project-related personal protective equipment
(PPE)is required in this zone.
' * Exposure monitoring will not be required for this type of work activity, since no soil
samples will be collected. Personnel will not be exposed to any subsurface conditions.
The EZ will be demarcated to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the area.
