Your corporation owned <br /> the former UST system at the time of its removal, and you are therefore still the primary <br /> Responsible Party. <br /> The last monitoring event reported to EHD for this site was conducted on 10 May 2004, at which <br /> time 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) was detected at a concentration of 24 micrograms per liter <br /> (µg/I) in monitoring well MW-1 and at 23 µg/I in MW-2. The vertical and lateral extent of the 1,2- <br /> DCA has not been delineated, its mass has not been estimated, and its potential to adversely <br /> affect human health and additional groundwater supplies has not been evaluated. <br /> You are directed to submit a work plan to EHD by 19 September 2005 to investigate the vertical <br /> and lateral extent of contamination from the former UST system. You are also directed to <br /> reinitiate quarterly groundwater monitoring no later than 30 September 2005.
