San Joaquin County Counsel and State Water Resources Control Board Counsel has i <br /> advised San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) that all owners of the property since <br /> the unauthorized release from the former underground storage tank (UST) system was discovered are <br /> responsible parties. Since you purchased the property(May 22, 1999)after the unauthorized release from the <br /> former UST system had been recognized (July 27,1988), you are a responsible party for the site. Your site <br /> has been assigned to.EHD's Local Oversight Program,which provides oversight of assessment and clean up <br /> activities at contaminated underground storage tank sites. <br /> Our goal is to certify completion of corrective action at underground storage tank leakage sites pursuant to <br /> California Code of Regulations, Division 3, Chapter 16, Article 11 (Corrective Action Regulations). These <br /> regulations govern the investigation and mitigation activities at leaking underground storage tank sites. The <br /> Regulations can be accessed on the State Water Resources Control Board website at <br /> http://www.calregs.com/. <br /> The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region "Appendix A - Reports Tri- <br /> Regional Board Staff Recommendations For Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank <br /> Sites" should be used as a guidance document.
