Linne Rd. <br /> Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD), has reviewed the <br /> "Environmental Site Assessment Report", dated May 1997 as submitted by your consultant,Advanced <br /> Environmental Concepts Inc., and has the following comments. <br /> Petroleum from underground tanks (UGTs) removed without PHS-EHD permits or oversight during July 1992, <br /> have impacted the soil and groundwater at this site. An official Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge as <br /> required by Health and Safety Code 25180.7 (Prop 65)has been filed by PHS-EHD. In addition, an <br /> Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release(Leak)/Contamination Site Report(UAR) has also been <br /> filed by PHS-EHD and this site has been added to the local contaminated site database. <br /> PHS-EHD can provide you with oversight for the investigation and remediation of the leaking UGT sites that <br /> are exempt(farm tanks)from current Underground Tank Requirements(California Code of Regulations, Title <br /> 23, Division 3, Chapter 16,Article 11). The PHS-EHD Corrective Action Program (CAP) allows responsible <br /> parties (RP's)to work with PHS-EHD staff and coordinate a plan for identifying, evaluating, and remediating <br /> impacted soil and groundwater. RP's voluntarily comply with PHS-EHD as field work and reports are reviewed <br /> and commented on.
