• ` <br /> Aop <br /> f <br /> September 24, 1999 ICES 2289 <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> INDEPENDENT TRUCKING/DELTA PAPER FACILITY <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1. 0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Kevin Basso of Independent Trucking/Delta <br /> Paper, Innovative and Creative Environmental Solutions ( "ICES" ) <br /> has prepared this report to document the removal of one <br /> underground storage tank (UST) at the Independent Trucking/Delta <br /> Paper facility located at 401 South Lincoln Street in Stockton, <br /> California (Figure 1) . <br /> This report includes a description of the UST removal and <br /> sampling activities, laboratory analytical results, and our <br /> findings and conclusions regarding the removal activities . <br /> 2 . 0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The Site is located on the west side of South Lincoln Street <br /> between West Sonora and Church Streets . Independent Trucking and <br /> the Delta Paper formerly occupied the Site . <br /> Two adjoining warehouses are located at the northeastern portion <br /> of the Site . A trailer is located at the northwest corner of the <br /> Site. One conveyor and shredder machine is located at the <br /> western portion of the Site. One transformer was located <br /> adjacent to the shredder and a second transformer was located <br /> along the western perimeter of the Site . One 550-gallon UST, <br /> formerly used to store gasoline, is located at the eastern <br /> portion of the Site. The UST was reportedly installed in the <br /> 1950 ' s . <br /> 1. 3 . 0 UST REMOVAL <br /> The UST removal activities were conducted by Bamer Construction <br /> Company (Barrer) of Castro Valley, California on September 16 , <br /> 1 <br /> 0 . <br />
