Application to Destroy Monitoring Wells <br /> San Joaquin Regional Transit District <br /> 1533 East Lindsay Street, <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll: <br /> The San Joaquin Regional Transit District (SJRTD) requests permission from <br /> the San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health(SJCDEH) to <br /> destroy monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2-and MW-3 located at the subject <br /> facility. A completed application and check payment for the well destructions <br /> are enclosed. Q <br /> The SJRTD has retained Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. (Cambria) <br /> BOARD OF DIRECTORS to supervise the destruction of the site wells. Cambria has contracted <br /> D. David Smith Exploration Geoservices,.Inc. (License C57 #484288) to provide and operate <br /> Chairman the equipment necessary to destroy the wells. All work will be performed in <br /> James S.Barbour one day subsequent to receiving SJCDEH application approval. <br /> Vice-Chairman <br /> Lowell R.Snyder The site wells will be destroyed according to SJCDEH guidelines and the <br /> Carmen Perino methods described in the State of California Department of Water Resources <br /> Martha Jeanne Shaver Water Well Standards published in December, 1981. The objective of the <br /> well.destructions is to restore the subsurface conditions to a similar condition <br /> GENERAL MANAGER/CEO as those before the wells were constructed. Each well will be filled with neat <br /> cement grout from the bottom of the well up in one continuous pour to <br /> Jerald L.Hughes prevent "bridging".
