PHS/EHD entered into contract with California State Water Resources Control Board to conduct <br /> an underground storage tank corrective action program. Section 25299.37(c) of the Health and Safety Code <br /> provides us the authority to require an investigation and cleanup of unauthorized releases. The above referenced <br /> site was placed in the Local Oversight Program in December 1989. This agency has been providing oversight of <br /> the investigation and cleanup activities since that time_ <br /> PHS/EHD has completed the review of the Request for Case Closure prepared by Cambria Environmental <br /> Technology, Inc. dated April 23, 1996. Site closure can only occur after the three on site monitoring wells are <br /> destroyed under permit and inspection by this office. <br /> Please submit a permit application and a $60 fee for review and permit issuance.
