Emergency Response/ Contingency Plan training: <br />• Notify facility personnel and evacuate if necessary <br />• Management will notify local emergency responders, #911 <br />• Management will notify the local Unified Program Agency #800-300-2193 <br />• Management will notify State Warning Center #800-852-7550 <br />2. Spill Notification Procedures: <br />• Verbal Warning Alert <br />• Telephone/ Cell Phone (personnel and management on duty) <br />3. Spill Response Procedures for Delegated Employees: <br />• Monitor for leaks, ruptures, pressure build-up, etc. <br />• Provide absorbent physical barriers (pads, spill pigs, pillows) <br />• Eliminate Sources of ignition for flammable hazards <br />• Stop Processes and Operations <br />• Automatic / Electronic Equipment Shut off System <br />• Shut off Water, Gas, Electrical Utilities <br />• Call 9-11 for Public Emergency Assistance, and/or Medical Aid <br />• Notify and Evacuate persons in all threatened, impacted areas <br />• Account for Evacuated persons immediately after evacuation <br />• Provide Protective Equipment for On -Site Emergency Response Teams <br />• Remove containers, and/or isolate areas <br />• Hire licensed hazardous waste contractor <br />• Use absorbent material for spill containment <br />• Vacuum suction using appropriate vacuum for Spill Control/Clean up <br />• Provide Safe temporary storage of hazardous waste generated during emergency <br />4. Evacuation Procedures: <br />• Verbal Alerts such as shorting will be used to begin evacuation <br />• Maps posted on the facility for evacuation plan to know which exit and safe meeting <br />location is to meet at (please see attached map) <br />
