Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]
Subject: Part 3 for Country Market at 10476 W. Linne Road
Jim.
This is the third and final email containing the information that you requested concerning the underground
storage tank (UST) removal report from Jim Thorpe and information from the Unit 3 file concerning the UST
removals.
I was present when the two borings were advanced in February 2014. Figure 2 of Site Investigation Report
and Case Closure Request, dated 15 August 2014, shows the more accurate locations where the two
borings were advanced. The boring locations were decided based on where Cruz Brothers Locators had
marked underground utilities and based on the Unit 3 site map. The entire area where the tanks were
removed is made up of old asphalt. To my knowledge there was never an asphalt patch placed over the
area where the two USTs were removed.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney a)sicehd.com
L OMI
I
1/13/2015
