(Thuy no longer works for the
County.)
You will receive the information in this and two other emails since I am not able to send all of this information in
one email.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email : vmccartneVasicehd.com
From : Barton, Jim@Waterboards [mailto:jim , barton@waterboards.ca.gov]
Sent: Monday, January 12, 2015 1 :46 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]
Subject: RE: Country Market, 10476 W. Linne Rd ., Tracy, San Joaquin County
Hi Vicki,
I am reviewing the closure request for this case today, and am having difficulty with resolving the
differences in the tanks location in the work plan figure and in the report figure ( Report location scaled
30' to the southwest of WP location and much closer to Tracy Blvd . ). I also looked at Google Maps Street
View and cannot see any evidence on the asphalt that the tanks were removed in 2012 . The asphalt in
the area all looks very old and there is nothing resembling a 5' by 5' patch where the two tanks were
reportedly removed . When you get a chance, please send me the original tank pull report by Jim Thorpe
Inc, and any notes from Unit 3 on the tank pull .
We can discuss my other questions at the meeting Wednesday,
• why they didn't list/mention looking for any other domestic wells beyond the site well in the
sensitive receptor survey
• why the investigation scope was reduced from 5 borings to 2 borings spaced 20' apart,
1 /13/2015
