As reported via a letter report dated <br /> September 15, 1992, California Cedar Products removed three USTs. The tanks were <br /> removed under the supervision of the County and transported under manifest to a proper <br /> disposal facility. <br /> Samples collected,indicated-.hydrocarbon;affected.soil-remained in the excavation f work <br /> plan dated October.6,.1992,.-was submitted and accepted by the County. The overexcavation <br /> t occurred October 21, 1992._Enclosed.,are ithe results ofthesamples collected inLLthe,locations <br /> selected by the County. No hydrocarbons were detected in these.samples. These results-were <br /> i verbally-transmitted to your department and approval was give o b ckfill the�excavat_ion <br /> r <br /> Upon receipt of verbal approval, the excavation was backfilled-with imported material. <br /> The excavated material was temporarily stockpiled and covered. with plastic. sheeting onsite. <br /> On February 16, 1993, the stockpiled material was transported by Dillard Trucking to B.F.I. <br /> Vasco Road Landfill in Livermore, California. Nonhazardous special waste manifests were <br /> used to track the material. A total of 342 cubic yards of material were transported.
