The top of. the fuel Vault was excavated and exposed. <br /> The reiraining bunker oil was puirrl)ed out and properly transported off-site under <br /> l <br /> manifest for disposal. -T-10 inter-orcif the vault was then, cleanedrisirr high-pressure i <br /> washers. Tlie rinsate was also transported off-site under rrranifest for disposal. The � <br /> interior of the vault was inspected by San Joaquin County Department of Environmental <br /> Health. Two holes were core drilled in the bottom of the concrete vault and soil samples <br /> were collected from the soils beneath. These samples vvrere collected to corrfirrn that <br /> a he sample results were n+�r�-detect. The fuel vault <br /> present. CKY does riot recurnmend atly further ac:tiuri at this site. <br /> Stockpiled Railroad Ballast Material <br /> 1 <br /> ' There are two stockpiles of railroad ballast material located at the western side of the <br /> property. This material was salvaged during the rernoval of the railroad tracks that run <br /> adjacent to the property. Upon the request of San Joaquin County Department of <br /> Environmental Health the stockpile Dere sample to determine it the salvaged material.. <br /> posed any .threat to public. health. The stockpiles were sampled for the presence of <br /> contamination from hydrocarbons, pesticides, herbicides, and PCBs. The $oil samples <br /> indicated that the material posed no risks to public health..
